| Exceptionally Good Plate of Food When I moved to Hitchin a couple of years ago I went in every Indian restaurant in the town and had the same dish in each. Chicken Dansank. Sitar 2 in my view was way above the other places in town. I've been in loads of times and never had anything other than an exceptionally good plate of food. | Best Indian in our Area We ordered the take away delivery online. The website is great and easy to use. We ordered online at 4pm knowing that they didn't open until 6pm, and we had our order delivered at 6:20pm. The dishes are delicious and is clearly the best Indian in our area. | Each Dish is Distinctive & Enjoyable We regularly have a take away from here and can say that we have been pleased every time. We have tried lots of the dishes and each one is distinctive & enjoyable. We especially like the quality of the chicken -very nice, tender pieces. This is the only place we will have a curry from. | Best Indian Restaurant in Hitchin Sitar 2 is the best Indian restaurant in Hitchin by a long way, in fact its my favourite restaurant in Hitchin town centre full stop. The food is always cooked fresh, and unlike some other Indians, each dish is easily distinguishable from others with the individual flavours identifiable. The atmosphere and ambience is really friendly and the staff look after you really well, without being over attentive - they have the balance just right. There is a nice buzz in the restaurant, creating a good atmosphere whether you are a couple or a group of friends. This is our regular and I'm almost a bit reluctant to review Sitar 2 on trip advisor as it can already be busy, but it is only fair to share this gem on the Hitchin restaurant scene. d92eyj, www.tripadvisor.com | |
| Delicious Indian Food Sitar 2 has only been in Hitchin for a few years but the owners have a history within the town, and as far as I know have several restaurants in the family around i.e Cambridge. The Sitar 2 itself has delicious Indian food and I am a number one fan of their nans. The service is generally great, attentive staff but not overbearing, although when it's busy it can get quite hectic. The decor is stylish and sophisticated, but retains a cosy and comfortable touch. | Lovely Friendly Place to Eat This restaurant is a lovely friendly place to eat. It serves a wide variety of currys and Indian cuisine. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious.
